    A socially-conscious take on the supper club, Closed on Mondays is hosted by Aliza Miner, Savita Ostendorf and Marjory Garrison, and served up in restaurants that are closed on Mondays (aha!). The restaurants donate the space & equipment, the hosts donate their superb cooking skills, and guests’ cash donations go towards ingredients and a food-related cause. The first Closed on Mondays will be held at the wonderful Canelé, with proceeds going to the Micheltorena School Garden in Silverlake.
    When: October 18, 2010
    5-9 pm (first come, first served)
    Where: Canelé restaurant
    3219 Glendale Blvd. in Atwater Village
    $35 cash only
