I’ll be presenting my spiel on thrift–including 10 things everyone can do to start getting thrifty NOW–at my hometown library! My previous events have all been at fabulous independent book stores all over the Western US, but the library is a natural fit as libraries are one of the thriftiest resources we have at our disposal. Why buy a book when you can borrow one? Free movie rentals, music, audio books…Not to mention a comfortable place to do work, with free wi-fi and no latte requirement.

I hereby add an 11th thrifty thing to my list: “Join your local library.”
